1. Keep contact with Xavier's fieldwork coordinator to let her know I am ready for a student
2. Exhibit competence in my job
Within 5 years of practice, I will have taken on at least 1 level 2 fieldwork student.
How will I get there?
1. Keep contact with Xavier's fieldwork coordinator to let her know I am ready for a student
2. Take a CEU course to prepare for taking on a student
Following my graduation from Xavier, I will pass the NBCOT exam.
How will I get there?
1. Continue using studying apps
2. Take a course to help me study and take the test
At the end of my capstone experience, I will present capstone results in a scholarly manner verbally and in writing
How will I get there?
1. Put together a video demonstrating my project
2. Present at the Xavier capstone symposium
In my first year of practice, I will accept a job in a pediatric acute care setting.
How will I get there?
1. Excel in my level 2 placement in acute care
2. Make lasting connections in the acute care setting
After at least 10 years in the OT field, I will open my own outpatient OT clinic
How will I get there?
1. Take business courses to better understand the process of opening a business
2. Obtain employment in various settings to award myself a broad variety of experience in OT
